John Wiecha, MD, MPH- Predoctoral Director
John.Wiecha@bmc.org

is the Director of Predoctoral Education in the Department of Family Medicine at the Boston University School of Medicine. He received his MD from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and his M.P.H from the University of Massachusetts. He completed residencies in Family Medicine and in Preventive Medicine at the University of Massachusetts. Dr. Wiecha has published studies on patterns of preventive health care among disadvantaged populations, on tobacco abuse among minority populations in Massachusetts, and on methods and evaluation of distance medical education.
