3D LED Cube Display

The 3D LED Cube Display is a grid of 512 LEDs that will display a monochrome 3D image. The entire system shall be powered from a standard US wall socket and shall not exceed 20”x20”x20”. The user shall provide an image to be uploaded from a host PC through a USB port onto the cube. In order to add contrast to the 3D image, this project will allow for 16 degrees of brightness level control for each LED. The host PC will also be able to update the image at 30 frames per second to achieve a smooth animation effect.
