
Sargent Choice, a new line of delicious nutritious and satisfying food items will be available starting in the fall across campus at all residential dining rooms, retail dining locations and through Catering on the Charles. Choices include entrees, soups, salads, sandwiches, muffins and desserts. In keeping with the 2005 Dietary Guidelines issued by the USDA, all Sargent Choice foods are made with whole grains, more fruits and vegetables, low fat dairy products, lean protein and heart healthy oils. All recipes have been approved by nutrition experts at Sargent College and perfected by chefs at BU Dining Services. Sargent Choice, a collaborative effort between BU Sargent College and BU Dining Services, aims to create a healthier dining environment at BU by helping consumers make more informed food choices in their everyday lives.
