Howard Zinn 1922 - 2010
To commemorate the life of historian and activist, Howard Zinn, we have organized a small exhibition with pages from his original typescript manuscript for A People's History of the United States, originally published in 1980. The pages, marked for typesetting, shown extensive editing by Zinn. The manuscript pages are accompanied by a twentieth anniversary edition of the book published in 1999, as well as a photographic portrait taken by Boston University Photography.
