Howard Thurman - Jesus and the Disinherited
This exhibition features two excerpts, one in Thurman's own hand, of what would become Thurman's best-known book, Jesus and the Disinherited. In this important work, Thurman succinctly blends Christian mysticism, social ethics, and Gandhian non-violent resistance that were to become the hallmarks of his theology.
Located in the Gotlieb Memorial Gallery on the first of Mugar Memorial Library. The Exhibit can be viewed during regular library hours.
