A View from the Vault: Fifty Years of Collecting
The exhibition highlights original scripts, letters, manuscript drafts, notable correspondence, photographs, awards, press credentials, props and other items from the personal archives of major figures that have influenced our cultural arts and social history, such as actor and comedian Robin Williams; actor, director, and photographer Leonard Nimoy; director and Monty Python member Terry Gilliam; actor and political advocate Geena Davis; legendary television producer Aaron Spelling, Broadway star Christine Ebersole as well as Hollywood legends Lauren Bacall and Humphrey Bogart.
The exhibition also features the papers of journalists Ann Curry and William McKeen, opera singers Robert Merrill and Lorraine Hunt-Lieberson, composers Peter Lieberson and Osvaldo Golijov, Boston radio icon Ron Della Chiesa and award-winning photographer Peter Simon,chef and author Jacques Pépin, and television sportscaster Bud Collins.
