GMS AN 501 Gross Anatomy (Summer)

Course Description
Course Description: The course consists of 180 class hours, including laboratory dissection, lecture, discussions, and 3 exams. Six credit hours will be given. Embryology is an important part of the course and is integrated into each region. The course is taught regionally and divided into three sections, each with a practical and written exam: Back and Limbs; Thorax, Abdomen, and Pelvis; and Head and Neck. The course will require the complete dissection of the human body. There is a strong emphasis on cross sectional anatomy, radiological anatomy, and clinical correlations.

Grading
Numerical and letter grades and official transcripts will be issued. Students who wish to use the course as remedial or supplemental work for other institutions should obtain prior written agreements from the administration of their school. A letter and transcript will be provided.

Fees
$100.00 deposit. The deposit is applicable to tuition

Tuition
$2000.00 Checks should be made payable to "Boston University." Students are required to purchase goggles and gloves. These can be obtained at the Medical School Bookstore. Dissecting tools and lab coat are provided.

Enrollment Deadline
The registration fee and application forms must be in by June 17, 2005 Full tuition must be received by July 6, 2005
