MS in Biomedical Forensics
The Biomedical Forensic program is designed to train individuals in forensic sciences with a complementary background in the biomedical disciplines of anatomy, pathology, genetics, biochemistry and osteology and how they relate to crime scene investigation and evidence analysis.
MA in Bioimaging
The Bioimaging program provides a broad background in basic and advanced sub-disciplines of imaging embodying the latest advances in imaging technologies, neurosciences and robotics. Graduates qualify for positions in healthcare, image processing, biomedical instrumentation and pharmaceutical industries, academia, and private and government research centers.
Carnegie Inititive for the Doctorate
Sponsored by the Carnegie Foundation, the goal of this five year endeavor is to examine current ways in which we train graduate students in the Neurosciences and to explore ways to improve this process.
Departmental Research Labs
There are 16 research laboratories that form the core of our department. Our work is supported by over six different institutes of the NIH, NSF, Veteran's Administration, private foundations and industry.
