Cultural Humility for Persons of Color

The article, Cultural Humility for Persons of Color: Critique of Current Theory and Practice offers a critique and constructive proposals for considering the role of race in clinical training efforts aimed at cultural humility. We also consider some of the systemic or institutional dynamics that sustain white supremacy despite surface-level discussions of diversity in clinical and training contexts. This article was invited for a special issue on cultural humility in the Journal of Psychology and Theology.
