  • Starts: 1:30 pm on Thursday, March 22, 2018
  • Ends: 3:00 pm on Thursday, March 22, 2018
Journals, funding agencies, and media outlets often seek video assets when reporting on science. The good news: all of us have a camera—our cell phones—on us at all times. How can we best use this tool? No matter your resources or skill-level, you can learn to capture video of your science for use beyond the lab.

Join your colleagues for this next session in BU’s Strategic Communication series, and learn how video can help bring your science, proposals, and research to life. Whether you are creating your own video or working with a team, this panel discussion will examine what makes a good visual story, how to distill your message and how you can use video to help bring attention and awareness to your research. Hear from professionals as well as faculty who have collaborated on captivating and engaging videos. You’ll come away from the discussion with techniques and tips as well as resources to help you incorporate video into your work.
