Molecular Research

About

The mission of the molecular research team is to discover disease mechanisms and develop new diagnostics and treatments for chronic traumatic encephalopathy and other neurodegenerative disorders, including Alzheimer’s disease (AD). The molecular research laboratory is a multidisciplinary biomedical research laboratory directed by Thor Stein, MD, PhD, based at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine and closely affiliated with the Boston University Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy Center, Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center, Center for Biometals & Metallomics (CBM), and other worldwide laboratories.
