HiTIES DATA
Raw data: Only process applied here is the wavelength calibration and subtraction of the dark.
HiTIES image during proton precipitation over Tromsų. The image is divided in 4 spectral panels centered near important spectral features, OI 777.4 nm, Hb, Ha, and N2+ 427.8 nm, from top to bottom, respectively. Note that the top panel spreads over the whole field of view on the right of the image, where OI emissions are present. Diffuse H emissions are seen in the two centered panels. The H panel also exhibits OH and N2 1P emission bands. The N2+ 427.8 nm emission is very weak. The image was obtained from the addition of 2 min exposure time images between 18:31 UT and 19:04 UT on January 20th, 2002.
