Rajen Kilachand Center for Integrated Life Sciences & Engineering
The Center for Systems Neuroscience (CSN) includes many outstanding current systems neuroscience faculty who are housed in a wide range of locations on both the Charles River and Medical Campuses. A subset of CSN faculty have laboratories in the new Rajen Kilachand Center for Integrated Life Sciences & Engineering building, which opened in the spring of 2017. Administrative offices for the Kilachand Center are also housed in the new building on the 7th floor. The Kilachand Center building includes first floor space for social gatherings, seminars, and large-scale discussions. The building provides research space for a subset of CSN faculty performing research using experimental techniques of systems neuroscience in animals or functional imaging in human subjects. The building includes first floor facilities for the Center for Cognitive Neuroimaging that provides support for neuroimaging techniques including a 3T Siemens fMRI scanner, as well as testing rooms for behavioral studies. The photos below show the Kilachand Center building.
