John Russo has substantial experience in industry and academia. Prior to entering academia full-time, he worked as a programmer, software engineer and database architect. For the past six years, Professor Russo has served as a consulting computer scientist at Boston VA Health Care, where he works on epidemiological studies. Through this work, he has recently published in JAMA: Cardiology and has a forthcoming publication in the European Journal of Cardiology.
