Cradles to Crayons

Looking to volunteer, but can’t commit to a whole semester or a whole year? There is an opportunity in October at Cradles to Crayons through the CSC!

Cradles to Crayons is a great organization that works to provide low-income andhomeless children with the materials they need to feel safe, warm, ready to learn,and valued.

If you are free on October 18th, 19th, 20th or 21st between 10am-12pm OR 1pm-3pm, BU needs you! Volunteers will help out at Cradles to Crayons as part of a united effort with Northeastern, Harvard, Boston College, MIT & Wellesley College. Volunteer work at the Cradles to Crayons Giving Factory involves inspecting donated books, sorting and testing toys, matching outfits, and preparing personalized packages for children in the community that C2C provides for.

This rewarding opportunity to not only volunteer & meet other BU students, but meet kids from other colleges as well, is a 2 hour time commitment at the Giving Factory. Alumni and Graduate Students are also encouraged to participate. (**Transportation is estimated to be a half hour each way**). Students will travel together to Cradles to Crayons by MBTA.
