The Community Service Center is pleased to announce nominations are now being accepted for the Commitment to Service and the University Community Service Awards. The contributions made by all volunteers are important, however these awards seek to acknowledge the senior(s) whose performance is exceptional. We ask that only one person be nominated for each award.
Those who are candidates for the University Community Service Award have contributed significantly to community service while in college, but do not necessarily plan to pursue a career directly related to service.
Nominees for Commitment to Service should have demonstrated a longstanding commitment to any volunteer program within the university or the community. This person should also be someone that plans to pursue a service-oriented program following graduation.
The student selected as the Commitment to Service recipient will be honored at the Community Service Center’s Volunteer Recognition Ceremony. The student to receive the University Community Service Award will be honored at the Senior Breakfast.
