Professor Sharon Goldberg Named Rising Star in Networking and Communication by N2Women

Congratulations to Professor Sharon Goldberg for being recognized on this year’s list of Rising Stars in Networking and Communication by N2Women! This award, now in its 10th year, is given by Networking Networking Women (N2Women), an 850 member organization supported by ACM, IEEE, NSF, and industry.

N2Women write that “Sharon is a powerhouse in network security, with the brain of a theorist and the heart of a systems person. She deeply understands modern Internet protocols like BGP, DNS, and NTP, and identifies and fixes their security flaws, with a razor-sharp focus on how to deploy these solutions in practice. She works closely with network operators, standards bodies, and regulators to ensure her models reflects operational reality, and that her solutions cross the chasm to make the Internet more secure.” More information about this year’s list and other Rising Stars can be found here.

Congrats, Professor Goldberg!
