
The Recovery Education Program is an adult education program that offers students the opportunity to choose a range of wellness courses that support their treatment, rehabilitation, and recovery efforts. The program is designed to strengthen and broaden the student’ knowledge of the physical, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual practices that will enhance their readiness for personal change and role recovery. Courses include:

Requirements for Participation

Interested individuals must complete an application packet.

Individuals must have a documented diagnosis of a psychiatric illness.

Individuals must be willing to use an educational environment to foster their recovery.

Individuals must submit medical records.
-
Individuals must receive physician approval to participate in any exercise class.

Individuals must be willing to consider participation in program evaluation research.

Courses offered on a trimester schedule: September - December, January - April, and May - August.
