CENTER FOR PSYCHIATRIC REHABLITITATION AWARDED NEW GRANT
In September, the Center for Psychiatric Rehabilitation at Boston
University was awarded a 5-year grant for Knowledge Dissemination
and Utilization (KDU) funded by the National Institute on Disability &
Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR) through the Disability Rehabilitation Research Projects (DRRP). The Center's work will promote the use of
rehabilitation research through the development of a set of research
standards that will allow end-users (consumers, family members,
service providers and other researchers) to make informed choices
about the usefulness of research. These standards will be tested for
applicability across different types of disability fields, i.e. psychiatric
disabilities, spinal cord injuries, multiple sclerosis.
