PARTICIPATE IN STIGMA AND DISCRIMINATION INTERNET SURVEY
The Center for Psychiatric Rehabilitation at Boston University is conducting a brief anonymous survey about the stigma and
discrimination people in recovery encounter in everyday life
situations and about the ways they deal with such negative
experiences. Findings from this survey will inform the
development of a new intervention intended to foster the
competence of people in recovery to cope with stigma and
discrimination. If you are interested in contributing to this

TRAUMA-INFORMED PEER SUPPORT CONFERENCE
The Consumer Organization & Networking Technical Assistance Center (CONTAC) is hosting the “Providing Trauma-Informed Peer Support: Peer Programs to Peer Specialists” conference on April 28-May 1, 2005 at the Embassy Suites in Charleston, West Virginia. Trauma informed peer support offers an alternative to a medical framework and starts from the perspective that people see, hear, feel, know and act based on their lived experience. Come learn about different peer support and peer specialist initiatives and be part of a dialogue to make all peer initiatives more trauma informed.
