Participate in research:
We welcome your participation in a current study to explore the
ways in which mental health and rehabilitation providers support
and promote recovery for consumers living with psychiatric
disabilities. Your ideas and personal experiences will help us
to
understand the ways in which practitioners contribute to the process
of recovery. For the purposes of the study, you must be a mental
health consumer who has experienced a disabling psychiatric
condition, a consumer provider of mental health or rehabilitation
services, or a provider of mental health or rehabilitation services.

Rehabilitation Readiness:
The Center has just published the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Training
Technology for Rehabilitation Readiness. For use by trainers,
human
resources specialists, clinical instructors, and/or supervisors,
this
technology will train practitioners to help people actively assess
and develop their own readiness to engage in rehabilitation. Each
training program includes lesson plans; masters for transparencies;
and a reference handbook with lecture summaries, case studies,
examples, practice exercises, and skill evaluation checklists.
