The RISP grant also enhanced the Center's ability to plan and conduct complex and rigorous research studies related to the health and rehabilitation needs of persons with serious mental illness.
Aims of the Research Infrastructure Support Program
Aim I:
To build on the Center's existing research capacity by establishing a research and statistics unit and by strengthening collaboration with senior mental health researchers, research centers, and public mental health agencies
Aim II:
To build on the Center's existing research capacity by inviting experienced mental health and health services researchers to mentor senior and junior faculty.
Aim III:
To build on the Center's existing research capacity through the development of five pilot studies on rehabilitation and health topics for persons with serious mental illness.
Proposed Pilot Studies
