We are happy to answer your questions by phone at (617) 353-3549, but we need orders in writing via Internet or by mail or faxed order forms.

Internet Orders
Products available for online purchase contain an add to shopping cart link.

For online purchase, a valid Visa, Mastercard, or Discover card must be used. If you would like to use a different method of payment, you may submit your order by mail or fax with a printable order form.

Shipping
Please allow approximately 1-2 weeks for delivery of your order. U.S. and Canadian orders are shipped UPS, and international orders are shipped via U.S. Postal Service or UPS (depending on the weight of the package). Shipping and handling costs are below:

Rush Orders
Overnight and/or special delivery services are available upon request at your additional expense. Please include any special request with your order.

Credit Card Payments Payment can be charged to VISA, MasterCard, or Discover Card accounts by completing the credit card information on the order form for mail, fax, and Internet orders.	Check, Money Order, Purchase Order Payment may be made by check, money order, and purchase order (for over $100) made payable to Boston University through mail and fax orders only.
U.S. Funds Payment must be in U.S. funds by U.S. bank draft or international money order.	Sales Tax Massachusetts residents are required to pay a 5% sales tax of the purchase price, shipping not included. If you are tax exempt, please include a copy of your tax exempt certificate with your order.

International Orders

All International orders must be prepaid.
Payment must be in U.S. funds by U.S. bank draft or international money order, made payable to Boston University--Center for Psychiatric Rehabilitation; or payment may be charged to MasterCard, VISA, or Discover Card accounts.
We generally ship via UPS. You must notify us if you want us to request a specific brokering service. Shipping for orders totaling under $100 is $20. Shipping for orders $100 and over is 20% of the total.
Any VAT and duty charges from your country are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in our shipping costs.

Bookstore and Book Distributor Orders

Booksellers who purchase 5 or more copies receive a 20% discount off the single copy retail price for books published by our Center for items above $10. Orders are shipped via UPS.
Booksellers are required to prepay for their orders. Prepayment may be made by check, or money order made payable to Boston University – Center for Psychiatric Rehabilitation, or prepayment may be charged to MasterCard, VISA, or Discover Card accounts.

Return Policy

Books/CDs may be returned within 180 days of the date of invoice. Returned books must be in salable condition. Books which bear the marks of gummed price labels or are soiled, torn, bent, stained, etc. are not acceptable. Returns not meeting the above condition will be sent back to you at your expense.
CDs with broken seals or evidence of tampering are not returnable.
There will be a 20% restocking fee for any returned products.
Refunds will be made based on the original form of payment, i.e., credit cards will be credited or refund checks will be sent for any payment made by check.
Special arrangements for extending the 180-day period will be considered when book sales are possible during the next term. However, we must receive your extension request within the 180-day period.

Quantity Discounts

Book orders for 10 or more copies of certain books may be purchased at a 20% discount. Refer to the specific book webpage.

Review Copies of Books for Instructors

Selected textbooks are available to college and university instructors for consideration for use in their academic courses. One review copy is available per course. Students in the course may place individual orders for their books online, or your bookstore may order copies for the students registered for your class.

When placing a review copy order, include the name of your college or university in your shipping address. Also, be sure to include the following information in the "special instructions" box:

the course name and number
when the course will be taught
the name of the instructor teaching the course

For International shipments, there will be a $20 shipping fee per book.

Sole Distributor
The Publications Division within the Center for Psychiatric Rehabilitation operates under the auspices of Boston University and is the sole distributor for books and products published by the Center.
