Furthermore, the RRTC supports ongoing dissemination through at least five channels of communication in addition to this website:

The eCast informs mental health and rehabilitation networks about the Center for Psychiatric Rehabilitation events and publications, as well as, general mental health and rehabilitation news. Starting in 2005, the eCast will feature a unique consumer product and/or event and create a link of this product and/or event to the Repository of Recovery Resources.

Repository of Recovery Resources

The Repository is designed to assist state mental health administrators and consumers in state offices of consumer/recipient affairs in their work to create more recovery-oriented mental health systems by providing access to resource materials.

Recovery & Rehabilitation Fact Sheets

Starting in 2005, Fact Sheets on recovery and rehabilitation topics will be created for the general public and made available as one-page downloads.

Online Communities

Two online communities are proposed:

  • Recovery Resources Online Community will be a list-serv organized to allow users of the Repository of Recovery Resources to share and discuss the resources.

  • Recovery-Oriented Psychiatric Rehabilitation Online Community will be a list-serv organized to support psychiatric rehabilitation providers in their efforts to implement psychiatric rehabilitation. Topics, issues, and interests of this group can be explored and resolved through discussion and networking.
