Excavation continues, working east to west

During the week of August 17th

  • Excavation for the building foundations continues. The first cut (down roughly eight feet from existing grade), will continue in the tower section of the building while cross bracing members are installed for the support of excavation system in the podium portion of the building.
  • Installation of the two remaining inclinometers will be completed.
  • The jet grout operation will continue, this operation will inject grout into the voids at the corners of the support of excavation system to seal the voids.
  • With the piles installed for the tower crane, the focus will now shift to building the base, which the crane mast will sit on. Placement of rebar, formwork, and the first piece of the mast will take place.
  • As activity in and around the site begins to increase, please be aware of all directional signage, as pedestrian travel paths may be altered.
  • We will continue to provide you with up to date information via these notifications.
