Professor Hudon teaches natural science in the
Core. His doctoral dissertation, “The Cosmic Evolution of
the Clustering of Galaxies,” used data obtained from the
3.6 meter Canada France Hawaii Telescope. He previously taught
astronomy at the University of Toronto and Ryerson University,
both in Toronto. Recently he has been concentrating on history
of science and has written a long review paper on the historical
attempts to view the transits of Venus, in preparation for the
next transits in June 2004 and 2012. He has also worked as a freelance
writer and editor and has written science articles for children’s
magazines, travel
vignettes for literary magazines and a screenplay. Links
