On May 3rd, the sophomores who completed their two years in the Core were feted by the faculty at the annual banquet. As is tradition, the students put together a ribald skit in which beloved thinkers were sent up for pedagogical and personal peccadilloes. Click here to read the script.

Each spring, the Polytropos award is presented to seniors who after having graduated from the Core continue “to venture, to see, to answer, and, with all these, courageously to remember and return.” This year, the faculty recognized Jane Losaw, Stephen Kyriacou, Jon Marker, Matthew Kelsey, Dana Truhe, Vivek Bhatia, Ursula Rice, Beth Pickard, Erika Connolly, Grecia Alvarez, and Alessandra De Lucas.
