Our Core Community

For many students, the Core Curriculum functions as a small college within the large and diverse University. Many Core students live on special residence floors in Warren Towers or in the Core House. The Core sponsors museum trips, musical and dramatic performances, and a variety of other academic and non-academic get-togethers. The Core gives students access to faculty in small groups from the first semester of their freshman year. These faculty often play the role of mentors and friends for the rest of students’ college careers.
