The Core Mentors support students in the first-year Core program — especially students in Core natural sciences — in several ways, including:
- sending out of a weekly science lecture recap email, highlighting important points in the week’s lectures and seminars
- scheduling review sessions open to all Core science students before midterm and final exams
- holding office hours in CAS 119, CAS 129, and elsewhere, for walk-in and pre-scheduled tutorial sessions with current students
