The Word & Way Society
Word & Way is the undergraduate student association of Core. Its members, who represent every academic program at Boston University, seek to support and broaden the Core community by bringing discussions of Core topics and texts out of the classroom, for the benefit of all interested students and BU community members.
By fostering connections among Core students (especially first years), and representing Core on campus, they seek as well to strengthen the Core community itself. Informally, the group is known as the Core Club, and its members are known as the Incorrigibles or as the HardCores.
To contact Word & Way, please email the officers at email@example.com.
Typically, Word & Way meetings are spent in discussion of some current event, with connections to the works of the Core canon. However, from time to time we focus instead on a new work, written or created by one of our members. In these cases, the discussion is meant to provide the author/creator with feedback, as well as to provide all participants with stimulating food for thought. See the list below for works under discussion, at past or future sessions.
