Baccalaureate Service/Other Worship Services

The University’s Baccalaureate Service will be held On Sunday, May 22 at 11 am in Marsh Chapel and lasts for approximately one hour. The University’s chaplains warmly welcome our graduates and families to attend this interdenominational worship service.

The Roman Catholic Center at Boston University, Newman House, will celebrate two Masses during Commencement weekend. On Saturday, May 21, a Baccalaureate Mass will be held at 4 pm at Marsh Chapel. Immediately following this Mass, there will be a reception for graduates and their guests in the lower level of Marsh Chapel. On Sunday, May 22, there will be a Mass offered at 6:30 pm at Marsh Chapel. Any questions or requests for more information should be directed to the Catholic Center at 617-353-3632.

On Friday, May 20 at 6:15 pm, Hillel House will host a champagne reception for graduating students and their guests. Reform, Conservative, and Orthodox Shabbat Services will be held at 7:45 pm; a festive Shabbat dinner followed by a performance of Kol Echad, Hillel’s a cappella group, will begin at 8:30 pm. On Saturday, May 21, Orthodox Shabbat Services will begin at 9:30 am; Conservative and Reform Services will begin at 10 am. Lunch will be held at noon.
