Parking and Public Transportation Graduate applauds during commencement

Unless used as a convocation site, all parking facilities will be open and without charge for general Commencement  weekend parking.

On Sunday, May 17, the Babcock Street lot and a portion of the Agganis Arena garage will be reserved for handicapped parking during the All-University Commencement; a special permit indicating the designated parking location will be required to park between the hours of 6 am and 3 pm. This special parking permit must be obtained in advanced.  You may submit your request for this special permit via the Disability Services Accommodation Request Form which will be found on this website beginning April 1, 2009.

Portions of each of our open garages and lots will also be reserved for handicapped parking at on-campus school/college convocations; permits for these spaces may be requested also via the Accommodation Request Form beginning on April 1.

In anticipation of heavy traffic and parking demand both on-campus and along Commonwealth Avenue throughout the weekend, we urge you to use public transportation whenever possible.

In addition to public transportation, the University will provide shuttle bus service along Commonwealth Avenue throughout the weekend. The shuttles will service designated stops along their route and will make additional stops upon request.
