Accommodations and Travel

The Warren Towers Residence, 700 Commonwealth Avenue, can be your home away from home for Commencement Weekend. It will be available from 9 a.m. on Friday, May 18, through noon on Sunday, May 20. Please remember that this is dormitory-style living; there are no private bathrooms, single rooms, or telephones in the rooms. Your room will have two freshly made twin beds and clean towels. Breakfast and parking are included in the price of $50 per person, per night. Reservations must be made by Friday, May 11, 2001. Cancellations must be received by 5 p.m. on May 11, for a full refund; refunds will not be issued after May 11. If you prefer to stay at a hotel, you may call Citywide Reservation Services at 1-800-HOTEL-93 (in Massachusetts, call 617/236-4448) to make your arrangements. Please mention your affiliation with Boston University. Due to the limited accommodations in the Boston area and the fact that this is a busy time of year, we strongly urge you to make your reservations as soon as possible.

American Airlines and USAirways have been designated the official co-carriers for Commencement Weekend 2001 and are offering discounted fares. Please call American Airlines at 1-800-433-1790 (using StarFile #AN3851AB), or USAirways at 1-877-874-7687 (using GoldFile #75671605). Travel must take place between May 15 and May 23. Discounted fares are also available from Delta Airlines at 1-800-241-6760 using file #166470A. Travel on Delta must take place between May 12-26.
