Susan Walker is a veteran journalist, producing newscasts, special event coverage and news websites, as well as the Emmy Award–winning news series Project Radon. She has worked at the CBS, NBC and ABC affiliates in Boston as well as producing video projects for companies such as Nokia and Hewlett-Packard.

Professor Walker is also a documentary filmmaker; her recent documentary A Tale of Two Teens, along with a curriculum guide, teaches high school students about AIDS through distribution to classrooms and websites in the United States and abroad. She teaches a variety of television and online journalism courses at BU and is a director of the New Media Consortium. Professor Walker is currently working on a book about the world’s first passenger jet.
