Housing & Dining

On-Campus Housing

The 10 Buick Street residence is BU's premier campus residence, most frequently used by adult groups. It is an air-conditioned apartment-style residence at 10 Buick Street with suite-style accommodations. Each suite is comprised of four single occupancy bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchenette, and common living room area. The building also has a rooftop lounge with a spectacular view of the city, several small study rooms, and a first floor campus café and convenience store. The building is located right on the "T" (subway/trolley line) and adjacent to the Fitness and Recreation Center.

The proposed summer 2008 University-sponsored housing rate for this residence is 65.00/person/night. Guests are supplied with sheets, bedspread, pillows, bath linens and basic amenities including soap, shampoo, bathmat, bottled water, and a Campus Directory of Services. Unfortunately, the configurations of the suites do not allow for double occupancy. They also do not mix gender for the suite as they share common areas like bathrooms etc.

Conference participants who wish to come a day or two before the conference (to enjoy the 4th of July festivities in Boston) may do so beginning Sunday, July 3rd. Conference participants may also stay one day later, check out Sunday, July 10th.

Check-in begins at 3:00 PM and check-out time is prior to 11:00 AM. Any requests for an early check-in or late check-out must be made in advance in writing.

Off-Campus Housing/Hotels

There are numerous luxury hotels within walking distance in nearby Kenmore Square. Less expensive hotels are easily accessibly by public transportation. Mention the conference and get a special conference rate at the Holiday Inn (Brookline) and the Best Western Terrace Inn (Boston/Brighton).
