Film schools a maze of varied opportunities
The Film Program offers the Bachelor of Science Degree (B.S.) in Film and Television to undergraduate students, and the Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) Degree in Film Production, Screenwriting, or Film Studies, to graduate students.
These programs provide a comprehensive exploration of film with a solid liberal arts foundation, preparing students for a wide variety of career opportunities in the film and television and related industries and for additional study at the graduate level. Our programs offer the flexibility to allow students to develop their individual interests and career goals. After graduation our students are supported by an active alumni community of industry professionals.
Courses are taught by a diverse faculty of accomplished filmmakers, scholars, and writers, representing a wide range of approaches and backgrounds, who have earned national and international distinction in their areas.
The Film Program offers state-of-the art facilities and equipment for film production, using 16mm and super-16mm cameras and digital postproduction including HD editing. Students are responsible for their own film and film processing expenses.
Both undergraduate and graduate students may participate in our Los Angeles Internship Programs to enhance their education and gain professional experience.
