IUT into COM
The IUT policy has recently changed. We have posted this video to explain the IUT process. The deadline for Spring 2012 IUT has passed. The Fall 2012 IUT deadline is October 5th. The grade in the gateway course, COM CO 101 is now a C. (updated 12/07/2011)
COM CO 101
COM CO 101 will be offered summer 1. We will not know the availability of COM CO 101 for the Fall 2012 semester (for non-COM students) until late May. If you would like to be notified about the Fall COM 101 availability in late May, please email comugrad@bu.edu to be put on the COM 101 information list.
COM Minors
updated July 1, 2011 (effective Fall 2011)
We are pleased to announce new COM minors. These minors are open to all BU students, including COM students. COM students may minor in another department within COM. COM students must still complete their CAS concentration. Students that have previously declared a COM minor may still complete that minor. However, if a student would like to enroll in the new COM minor (which allows more flexibility) students will have to re-declare the new COM minor. Students wishing to enroll in the newly created minors must first complete COM CO 201 with a grade of C or better. The participating COM department must sign off on the COM Minor Form. The student would then take that form to their home school (Student Services, room 123 for COM students). Please review the COM Minor Video for more details on how to proceed.
