Bill Wheatley

Bill Wheatley (COM ’70) is the retired executive vice president for NBC News, where he had responsibility for all of the network’s newsgathering and hard-news programs. He also was the executive producer of NBC Nightly News for five years. He is a member of the adjunct faculty at Columbia University, the advisory committee of the Nieman Foundation and the jury of the Alfred I. duPont-Columbia University awards. He is a COM distinguished alumnus.
