COM never leaves you. Alumni

COM, please fill in whoever this is and link to distinguished alumni
Jeremy Hobson, host of NPR’s Here and Now, won a Distinguished Alumni Award in 2013.

You may leave BU at graduation, but the learning, experiences and relationships stay with you. Our alumni have always been as integral a part of our community as faculty and current students.

Here is where you can keep those bonds close. Browse the news. Click a link. And network with an international community of more than 30,000 professionals that reach to the highest levels of film, journalism, advertising, public relations and the broadcast industries. They’re a valuable resource in any field and our community of alumni grows each year.

Helping is its own reward.

Many alumni find it very rewarding to help the students that follow them at COM. It’s a critical component of our students’ success. You might like to help upcoming graduates at events on campus, in New York or in Los Angeles. Become a PRLab or AdLab client. Provide an internship. Or best of all, hire a COM grad—after all, who knows better than you that they make the best employees?

You might also consider a donation to the COM Fund, an annual fund that supports student, alumni and faculty programming. Be sure to check whether your company will match your donation.

Stay in the loop.

Find out what’s new at the school, in the industry and with your fellow alumni. We track all the new and coming communication trends in the classroom and in COMtalk, our alumni magazine that you can always access from this page. We’re also developing new programs all the time and hold a position of high priority in the University’s strategic plan. You’ll find updates of those programs here, so check back regularly. We’re always glad to have you here.
