Master of Science in Business & Economics Journalism
The curriculum is designed to produce skillful and creative professional journalists with practical knowledge of business and economics. The 12-course (48-credit) program includes coursework in the Journalism Department supplemented by courses in the BU School of Management and Economics Department.
This is the recommended sequence of courses for the Master’s Degree in Business and Economics Journalism. Students can shift the sequence of courses with the permission of the program director.

Professional Project Requirement
Candidates for the Master of Science degree in Journalism must submit a professional project. Each student will arrange for a faculty member as project advisor. Download the project requirements.
