A Message From the Program Director
The most important journalism being done today is in the field of business and economics. It is an exciting and lucrative field with enormous opportunities for professional growth and personal fulfillment. Journalists who understand business and economics have a deeper and more sophisticated sense of how the world works. They can tell fascinating and important stories, and they can grow as writers, broadcasters or multimedia producers. The entire world is their beat — whether it’s the Chinese economy, Wall Street, the farms of the American Midwest or the biotechnology breakthroughs in Boston’s startups. I am passionate about the field. I take a personal interest in all students who enroll in the program. If you think you might want to explore a career in business and economics journalism, please feel free to send me an email at email@example.com.
