The Boston Marathon bombings became a five day breaking news story, requiring a marathon of multimedia coverage by Boston University journalism students. The students' work was seen around the world, on CNN, MSNBC, The Boston Globe website, as well as on the Boston University News Service website; that coverage already captured a national award from the Online News Association.

Graduate Degree Requirements

Master of Science in Broadcast Journalism (48 credits)

Students learn how to report for television, radio and online news outlets, using video and audio as well as words.
