Frank Shorr, senior lecturer of journalism and director of Boston University's Sports Institute, discusses his work in broadcast journalism. He describes his prior experience as a sports TV producer and the professional value of Boston University's broadcast journalism program.

Senior Lecturer, Journalism

Frank H. Shorr teaches Broadcast Sports as well as the Sports Journalism Seminar Series. He also is the Director of the highly successful Sports Institute at Boston University. Shorr won eight Emmy Awards while the Executive Producer at WHDH in Boston and continues to weigh in as an expert on sports media. Currently a senior lecturer, he has a BS in Business and a master’s in Television & Film, both from Boston University.
