COM Career Services is excited to be hosting our Annual Networking Night from 6:00pm-8:30pm on Tuesday, November 6th in the Trustees Ballroom located in the Questrom School of Business on 1 Silber Way. This is by far our biggest and best networking event of the academic year. The event will feature a keynote address from Jodi. R. R. Smith, president and owner of Mannersmith. Jodi is an etiquette consultant specializing in social conduct, professional conduct, and networking. For more info on Jodi and her expertise: http://www.mannersmith.com/ Jodi will speak from 6:15pm-7:00pm and we will then break out into the networking portion. The networking portion will feature 12-15 alumni positioned at tall cocktail tables and will speak with COM students as they look to better understand the steps they've taken to improve on their careers, while providing general advice in hoping to improve your development. This portion would run from about 7:00pm – 8:30pm. Please check back for a complete list of alumni during the falling week. Dress is professional. Feel free to bring resumes and business cards, though in these settings, it's more professional to exchange business cards (strictly contact information) and follow-up later.
