COM Professor Ray Kotcher Inducted in Hall of Fame

Ray Kotcher (COM '83), non-executive chairman of Ketchum and COM professor, is the 2016 inductee to the Page Society Hall of Fame. The ceremony was held on Sunday, September 11th in London and was apart of the 33rd Page Society Annual Conference.

Ray Kotcher has worked for 32 years at Ketchum, serving as Global CEO for 12 years and 8 years as president. He is also a graduate of COM's top ranking public relations program. He has developed and strengthened the agency’s corporate practice and further engaged the agency’s own social responsibility activities. In his Page Society Hall of Fame acceptance speech, Kotcher encouraged a further commitment to the craft of communications. He also rallied to bring even greater commitment to the practice. “Let us leverage our collective strength and with the spirit of community that brought us to today, remain engaged with one another to further define our discipline, continue to build our value, ensure our leadership in the world of communications and marketing and realize the opportunity that awaits us in our next 100 years. Our time is now” he said and after, received a standing ovation.

The Page Society Hall of Fame affirms the lifetime achievement of women and men with distinguished careers in corporate communications and public relations. Past inductees have made significant contributions to the profession and have made a positive impact within communications and business, an honor established by The Arthur Page Society. The Page Society is a professional association for senior public relations and corporate communications executives seeking to enrich and strengthen their profession. With more than 700 members in over 20 countries, the Page Society has helped develop professional relationships and a deeper understanding of the role of corporate communications globally.
