For the second straight year, Boston University is ranked among the Top 25 film programs in the country by The Hollywood Reporter. BU placed 12th in the 2014 list, down one position from 2013 when it debuted at No. 11.

Some of COM’s most successful film and television alumni were featured, among them Jennifer Getzinger (’90) (The Devil Wears Prada, Requiem for a Dream, Mad Men), HBO senior VP Jay Roewe (’79) and Bonnie Arnold (’78) (How to Train Your Dragon 2), to name a few. Sumner Redstone (Hon. ’94), Candy Spelling and Hugo Shong (’87) were also highlighted for their gracious contributions to COM’s film students: the Redstone Festival, the Spelling Scholarship Fund and the Hugo Shong Reporting on Asia Award.
