Wake Up Specialist: GMA Producer Brandon Bodow

Synopsis

As a producer for ABC’s Good Morning America, Brandon Bodow is responsible for producing live segments, booking guests and generating show ideas for the network morning show. He works primarily on breaking news stories, music and other performance segments. In addition to his daily responsibilities, he produces GMA’s annual Summer Concert Series and all Broadway performances on the show.

Brandon Bodow

While at BU, he worked for the Comcast Network’s Nitebeat with Barry Nolan, where he developed an ongoing concert series featuring touring musicians traveling through the Boston area. Bodow credits landing his current position to two internships at Good Morning America during two consecutive summers while he was at the College of Communication. “It was very hands-on,” he says. “The contacts I made ultimately led to a job here.”
