COM broadcast journalism students won five top honors, more than any other college, in a New England regional student competition sponsored by the Associated Press. Topics included midwives, the violent protests at the G-20 summit in London, as well as the radio documentary “Made in Massachusetts”.

The award-winning radio projects were produced by students in classes taught by Professor Anne Donohue while the video report was produced by students in BU’s term abroad program in London.

The AP awards ceremony will be held Friday, April 16, at the Marriott Hotel in Newton.
