CME Test Overview

Boston University School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Boston University School of Medicine designates this educational activity on an hour-for-hour basis in category 1 credit towards the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award. Each physician should claim only those credits that he/she actually spent in the activity.

In order to successfully complete these activities, you are required to read a module and complete and submit the test answer sheet of that module by April 30, 2010. There are 8 independent modules contained within this program. CME credit will be awarded provided a score of 70% or better is achieved.

To earn CME credit for this program, you must be licensed in the US or Canada.

Each module will take approximately 1 - 2.5 hours to complete

The STD-CME Course has a total of 74 questions that will be distributed throughout eight sections.

You will choose the one answer which reflects the material from the text in the section you have just completed reading. If the answer is incorrect, a second opportunity to choose the correct answer is offered after you review the appropriate text.
