Getting Started
Registering for the STD-CME Course
Click on the "Registration" Button on the left-side side to register for the STD-CME Course for which, if you pass the accompanying tests, you will receive CME credit from Boston University School of Medicine, Department of Continuing Medical Education (CME), or nursing contact hours from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, Bureau of Communicable Disease Control.
New Registrants must fill out the complete registration form before entering the course. When you return later, your email address will serve as your login identification. Simply click on the "Log in" button near the top right of these introductory pages to begin or return to your online course work. You may exit the course at any time, and return to complete the course using your email address as your login identification later.

How and when will I get my Certificate?
Boston University School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. CME credit is for physicians, physician assistants, and certified nurse midwives. This Program is offered by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, Bureau of Communicable Disease Control. Nursing contact hours for this program will be provided in accordance with the Board of Registration in Nursing Regulations governing continuing education (CMR 244 5.00). Other clinicians are encouraged to review the course material and complete the test, and will receive a certification of completion. Once you successfully complete the CME test of each module, you can download your CME certificate, nursing contact hours certificate or certificate of completion to be printed locally.

Clicking on a section's title opens a new window, revealing the first page of content for that section.

Anatomy-
A compiled page of printable images of the female and
male anatomy (also in Section 1, pages 1.4.0, and 1.4.1).
Clinical Images-
A compiled page of all images, and flash and streaming
video throughout that section.
An outline of all of this site's introductory pages, and all of the pages within the eight modules is listed in the "Course Outline" introductory page, its button visible in the left side-bar.
The eight sections comprise the course content, and each ends with a CME multiple-choice quiz. You can view your test score in the "My Accounts" page after logging in. After completing a CME quiz, you will be asked to complete a brief course evaluation.
